The padron (register) of Benitachell has been greatly swelled by the building of several developments, or urbanisations, within its boundaries in the last ten years, and the process proceeds apace. These urbanisations include Les Fonts and Calistros fairly close to the town, and the famous (or infamouse) La Cumbre del Sol, a large rambling development all over Puid de LLoranca.  It calls itself "Paradise on the Costa Blanca".  Others call it a blot on the landscape. One thing is for sure.  I wouldn't want to live up there, remote, windswept and with no telephones. Maybe you feel differently.
