Benitachell is surrounded my mountains. Montgo, by far the most well known, is situated between Javea and Denia.  However, Benitachell boasts its own mountain, Puig de LLorenca, much of which has been sold for development as La Cumbre del Sol. At the top of the mountain is a radio and TV transmitting station.t
