In February 1986, I took my first ever trip to the Costa Blanca and therefore my first trip on the line.  This was just before the take over by FGV, and the line had been suffering from a lack of invest,ment and maintenance.  I just didn't realise just how precious these pictures would become as a depiction of the last days of the old order, otherwise I would certainly have taken more trouble over them.  In this shot, unit 2312 has just arrived at Alicante Marina station on 17th Feb 1986
